Configure high availability

Step 1 – Start creating a VM

Step 2.a – Configure availability options and availability zone.
Availability zones – resources are spread across different data centers within a same region. Note – not all regions have availability zones. SLA – 99.99%

 

Step 2.b – Configure availability options and set availability set.
Availability set – resources are spread across different update and fault domains within the same data center.

Create an availability set – Create a VM in an availability set – Check available VM sizes
